Privacy notice

Last updated: May 18, 2026

NAWÉ (“we”, “the site”, or “the consultancy”) is a collective consultancy for strategy, communications, and impact campaigns operating in Mexico and Latin America. This notice explains how we handle personal data when you visit our website, contact us, download resources, or use the digital shop.

In Mexico, personal data processing is governed by the Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP) and its Regulations. If you access the site from another country in the region, we apply equivalent safeguards and respect local law where applicable.

1. Data controller

The data controller is NAWÉ. For any privacy-related request, contact us at jelpme@nawe.mx.

If we appoint a dedicated privacy officer or channel, we will publish it on this page.

2. Personal data we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

  • Identification and contact data: name, email, phone, organization or role when you submit forms, download resources, or make purchases.
  • Billing and payment data: when you buy digital products (payment processing may be handled by payment providers; we do not store full card numbers on our servers unless a provider states otherwise in its own policy).
  • Technical and browsing data: IP address, browser type, language, pages visited, cookies and similar technologies (see Cookies section).
  • Communications: content of messages you send by email, form, or linked social channels.
  • Professional or project data: information you voluntarily share about your organization, campaign, or hotel when requesting consulting services.

3. Purposes of processing

We use your personal data for the following purposes:

  • Respond to information requests, proposals, and messages sent through the site or email.
  • Deliver consulting, strategic communications, and agreed projects for you or your organization.
  • Manage free or paid resource downloads, shop orders, and file delivery.
  • Send operational communications (confirmations, order updates, replies to inquiries).
  • Improve the site, analyze aggregated usage, and maintain platform security.
  • Comply with legal, tax, and record-keeping obligations when applicable.
  • With your consent, send news, invitations, or content about our work (you may opt out at any time).
  • Contractual or legal purposes do not require additional consent; marketing purposes require express consent or an equivalent legal basis.

4. Transfers and processors

We may share data with providers of hosting, email, web analytics, payment processing, file storage, or collaboration tools. They act as processors and must protect information and use it only per our instructions.

If a provider processes data outside Mexico, we implement contractual clauses and reasonable security measures in line with the LFPDPPP.

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We disclose it to authorities only when legally required.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

We may use cookies and local browser storage so the site works properly (for example, remembering your choice in the cookie notice at the bottom of the page). Technical cookies from hosting and security providers may also apply.

When you visit the site, we show a bottom notice with “Essentials only” and “Accept”. If you choose “Accept”, we save your preference on your device. If you choose “Essentials only”, we limit use to what is necessary to run the site. You can clear cookies or site data in your browser settings.

We do not currently use advertising or third-party analytics cookies (such as Google Analytics). If we add them in the future, we will update this notice and request consent when required by law.

6. ARCO rights and consent withdrawal

You have the right to Access, Rectify, Cancel, or Object to processing (ARCO rights), and to withdraw consent without retroactive effect on prior lawful processing.

To exercise these rights, email jelpme@nawe.mx with your name, contact details, a clear description of the right you wish to exercise, and a copy of official ID. We will respond within LFPDPPP timeframes.

If your request is not handled adequately, you may contact Mexico’s National Institute for Transparency, Access to Information and Protection of Personal Data (INAI).

7. Retention

We retain personal data as long as needed for the purposes described, legal obligations, or dispute resolution, including commercial relationship duration and applicable Mexican tax periods.

When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it securely.

8. Security measures

We implement reasonable technical, administrative, and organizational measures to protect data against unauthorized access, loss, alteration, or disclosure. No Internet system is 100% secure; please use official channels and avoid sharing passwords by email.

9. Minors

Our services are aimed at adults with legal capacity to contract. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If we learn we have received a minor’s data without verifiable parental consent, we will delete it.

10. Changes to this notice

We may update this notice for legal, operational, or service changes. The current version will be posted at this URL with the last updated date. Please review it periodically.
